Job summary

Lunar Outpost Inc. in Golden, CO is seeking a Deputy LTVS Program Manager to help shape the lunar terrain vehicle program.

You will support the Program Manager to execute the program vision, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and help deliver a Moon surface vehicle for 2029, compatible with NASA requirements. You will lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams, interface with NASA, monitor milestones and risks, and drive efficient execution while keeping safety front and center in a fast‑moving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of project management or coordination experience in a technical/engineering environment.
• Experience with Class A spaceflight missions, human spaceflight, or human-rated vehicle development.
• Strong leadership history and ability to translate customer vision into program goals.
• Proficiency with project management tools like MS Project and Jira.
• Experience with subcontractor management and cross-team coordination.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager in orchestrating multiple projects on the critical path.
• Manage program milestone reviews and track progress across teams.
• Lead evaluation and maintenance of schedule, budget, goals, and milestone readiness.
• Interface with NASA to communicate status and deliverables.
• Support team scaling and organization structure development.
• Improve program execution processes and prioritize tasks.
• Ensure safety remains at the forefront of all activities.
• Coordinate internal activities and facilitate inter-team communication.
• Lead meetings to align priorities, surface risks, and remove blockers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for stakeholders.
