Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Deputy Home Manager to provide person-centred support in a residential care setting in Worcester. You will work under the Registered Manager, leading the care team and ensuring high standards of safeguarding and care practice.

The role requires an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care and experience in similar settings. Salary ranges from £29,952 to £39,936 per annum, with day and night shifts and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is required.
• Experience with children and young people presenting risks and complex behaviours is essential.
• Strong leadership, safeguarding awareness and care planning experience preferred.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Home Manager to provide high quality, person centered support to a young individual with complex care and support needs within a residential care setting in Worcester, West Midlands area.You will be working for one of UK's leading children's healthcare providers

As a Deputy Home Manager your key duties include:

• Support the Registered Manager in leading and managing the home
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the care team
• Promote positive behaviour support strategies
• Manage incidents safely and effectively
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and care practice
• Support care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour management plans
• Build positive relationships with the child, staff team, and external professionals
• Ensure the home meets regulatory and quality standards

• Strong leadership skills

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care + experience working in a similar role and setting
