Equitable seeks a Deputy Head of M&A to shape and execute the firm’s M&A strategy across Retirement, Wealth Management, and Asset Management. The role requires leading complex transactions, building senior relationships, and coordinating across finance, legal, and other functions.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with 2-3 days on-site, and a total compensation range of $450,000 to $600,000, reflecting experience, geography, and performance incentives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 7 years of progressive M&A transaction experience, incl. buy-side and sell-side.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute the enterprise M&A strategy across Retirement, Wealth Management, and Asset Management.
• Identify targets in broker-dealer and RIA landscapes and translate market insights into opportunities.
• Originate and evaluate acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships with a strong pipeline.
• Lead complex transactions with cross-functional teams through execution.
• Negotiate LOIs/term sheets and coordinate governance and approvals.
• Present strategic recommendations and progress updates to senior leadership.
