**Join Our Team as Deputy Head Housekeeper at Dormy House**

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our beautiful, award-winning hotel – Dormy House. Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, with 39 stunning bedrooms and suites, a range of gorgeous restaurants, and cosy, relaxing spaces, you’ll be key in helping us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

**The Role:**

As Deputy Head Housekeeper, you’ll assist in managing the entire housekeeping operation, ensuring all public areas and guest rooms meet our exceptional standards. You’ll work closely with our team to exceed guest expectations, motivate the housekeeping staff, and ensure smooth and efficient operations day-to-day.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Oversee the scheduling of staff rotas and assist in controlling supply costs.

* Supervise and coach the housekeeping team, ensuring all training and competency records are up to date.

* Lead daily handovers and ensure that all necessary information is communicated clearly to the team.

* Ensure that all facilities and equipment are maintained to required standards.

* Ensure a warm and professional relationship with all service partners and other departments.

* Oversee the health and safety training and ensure all standards are followed.

* Handle any guest-related issues and requests, ensuring an exceptional experience.

* Assist with budget management and other paperwork, including safety audits.

**The Ideal Candidate:**

We are looking for a Deputy Head Housekeeper who is:

* Experienced in working in luxury high-end accommodation.

* A natural leader who enjoys coaching and developing a team.

* Strongly committed to health and safety standards.

* Organised, efficient, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

* Passionate about delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.

* A true team player, ready to step up in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.
