Job summary

Texas Democratic Party is hiring Deputy GOTV Directors to join the Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign. You will manage and support a regional network of GOTV Directors and Organizers to execute large-scale voter contact efforts.

This role begins the week of August 17 and ends November 15, 2026, with compensation of $6,500 per month and benefits including health care, vision, and dental insurance plus stipends for cell phone and transit.

Qualifications

• Commitment to the Texas Democrats mission and our organizational values, goals, and objectives.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a team.
• At least 3 cycles of organizing experience on a campaign, at a union, or related.
• Administrative experience in Votebuilder, including account creation and script management.
• Clear written communication skills.
• Access to a reliable car and drivers license.
• Access to a phone and laptop computer.
• Excellent mastery of systems like Google Suite, Excel, and online databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Regional GOTV Directors through weekly one-on-ones, coaching, feedback, etc.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, learning, and support amidst the fast pace of the campaign.
• Support and hold organizers accountable for meeting voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and volunteer leadership goals.
• Maintain strong communication structures, including daily check in and check outs, team chats, reporting channels, shared calendars, etc.
• Lend expertise in creating and facilitating GOTV trainings for staff and volunteers, draft and distribute guides and resources.
• Share campaign priorities, strategic shifts, and plans to ensure organizers understand goals.
