Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an editorial leader to guide coverage on asset allocators and institutional money management. You will set priorities across platforms, shape story selection, and ensure timely, high-utility reporting with strong ethics and accuracy.

You will coach reporters, manage newsroom teams, and leverage analytics and audience insights to shape coverage. This role demands strong communication and deadline-driven leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in journalism, communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant journalism experience, including editing and newsroom leadership.
• Familiarity with institutional money management and Asset Allocators (CIOs, Endowments, Foundations).
• Strong news judgment and ability to guide high-impact reporting.
• Experience managing editors, reporters, or cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of coaching journalists and developing talent.
• Strong understanding of audience-led editorial strategy and digital publishing.
• Experience using analytics, audience insights, and editorial tools to inform decisions.
• Ability to balance breaking news with long-term editorial planning.
• Deep commitment to journalistic ethics, accuracy, and editorial excellence.

• Lead the reporters covering what matters most to Asset Allocators.

Requirements
