Employment Details

This recruitment may be used to fill various vacancies (full-time, part-time, limited term, extra help) for up to one year.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Scheduled salary increases: 3.5% COLA effective 7/01/25 and 7/01/26
  • Winter Time Off (WTO): 32 hours of paid time

  • Hiring Bonus: $15,000 signing bonus, paid in two installments
  • Relocation Reimbursement: Up to $10,000 intrastate, $15,000 interstate, with $5,000 for temporary living expenses
Position Requirements

Education: Graduation from an accredited law school.

Experience: Three years in criminal law or one year as an Attorney II in Napa County's District Attorney's or Public Defender's Office.

License: Active membership in the California State Bar Association; must be maintained actively during employment.
