Main Purpose of Job

This position will function as the Deputy Director Program Analysis and MCO's. It will be accountable for ensuring and maintaining the programmatic and fiscal integrity of numerous processes performed by personnel and/or Contractors of the Management, Special Projects, Program Analysis and Managed Care Organizations (MSPM) Units of the Medical Care Programs (Medicaid), Office of Finance. This position will also be accountable for the supervision, performance evaluation, discipline, and oversight of the work for assigned staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifying candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or other related field. Five (5) years of budget management or procurement/contract experience, three (3) of which must have included supervision at the management/leadership level. A CPA Certificate or a Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Public Administration will substitute for one year of the general experience. Applicants who met the CPA exam admission requirement prior to July 1, 1974 will meet the above education requirements.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess experience in the following: Insurance Rate Setting and Compliance Contract Monitoring Insurance, Accounting and/or Finance (CPA) Managing a Team with Diverse Responsibilities
