Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Back-up for the Economic Development Director on projects and meetings.
• Supervise staff and review day-to-day operations.
• Develop and implement organizational policies to improve efficiency.
• Represent the office at meetings with county, community, and stakeholders.
• Develop and oversee the county's economic development strategy.
• Oversee existing industry programs and data collection for marketing enhancements.
• Lead marketing trips to target markets and attend industry tradeshows.
• Coordinate with Director to evaluate leads from marketing channels.
• Manage product development, due diligence, master plans, and site research.
• Oversee grants, budgeting, and finance coordination.
• Stay informed on market trends and launch new recruiting initiatives.
• Foster collaboration with allies and boards to promote growth.
• Work with Planning staff to align policies with business climate.
