Job summary

Reach Incorporated seeks its first-ever Deputy Director for Development to join the leadership team, reporting to the Executive Director. The role will drive Reach’s annual development plan, fundraise across major gifts, grants, and campaigns, and oversee development operations including CRM management and budget oversight.

The Deputy Director will collaborate with leadership to align fundraising with Reach’s mission of educational equity, manage a robust donor pipeline, and lead two signature

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 6-8 years of nonprofit development experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a fundraising generalist across major gifts, online giving, annual giving, corporate partnerships, and events.
• Experience managing development operations including CRM, budgets, and gift processing.
• Experience with volunteers, contractors, and consultants; strong initiative and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Lead development strategy and fundraising plans to meet annual revenue goals.
• Manage donor pipeline, proposals, grants, and stewardship.
• Oversee events such as Book Release Party and Scholarship Reception.
• Coordinate grant proposals and reporting; ensure timely submissions.
