The Battle Creek Housing Commission (BCHC) seeks a Deputy Director to support the Executive Director in overseeing operations and development, provide policy direction to senior management, and serve as Acting CEO in the absence of the CEO. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or MBA, extensive housing management experience, and strong planning, accounting, and communications skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or comparable Master’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university.
• Minimum of ten years experience in management/administration of housing or affordable housing programs.
• Minimum of five years experience with federal procurement and grant administration.
• Minimum of ten years general staff management experience.
• Property management experience may substitute some qualifications; developer experience is a plus.
