Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of California Content Standards across curricular areas.
• Provide balanced instruction in all curricular areas, including ELA, math, SEL, history/social science, science, arts, health, and PE.
• Utilize district adopted instructional programs and SDAIE strategies for English Learners.
• Provide intervention strategies to ensure academic success for all students.
• Maintain high expectations for student achievement.
• Plan and reflect instructional practices aligned to Oxnard School District Curriculum Maps.
• Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment and behavior standards.
• Communicate with parents about student progress, social, academic, and behavioral.
• Collaborate with special education and staff to support instructional modifications.
