Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center in Richmond, VA, seeks a Deputy Director to serve as second-in-command to the Director and lead the integration of oncology care, research, and education across VCU Health and Massey.

You will drive strategic priorities, oversee the cancer service line and clinical trials, and foster multidisciplinary collaboration to expand access to innovative therapies for the region.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree (MD or MD/PhD).
• A record of scholarship.
• A record leading teams in formal and informal roles in a cancercenter.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key partner and extension of the Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center Director.
• Act as interface between Massey and VCU Health leadership to align goals.
• Provide strategic oversight of the cancer service line and trials.
• Lead disease working groups to strengthen multidisciplinary care.
• Collaborate with leaders to advance Massey's strategic priorities.
