Qualifications

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Idaho and eligible for Idaho Prosecuting Attorney's Association.

Responsibilities

Represent the State of Idaho in criminal cases at crime scenes, in court, and in post-trial proceedings.
Screen cases, decide charges, prepare and present evidence, and negotiate plea agreements.
Direct staff in pleadings, forms, orders, and memoranda; maintain confidentiality.
