Qualifications

• Prosecute civil violations referred by City departments.
• Litigate cases from filing through appellate stage.
• Research and write legal memoranda for litigation and land use enforcement.
• Independently manage a caseload.
• Train City inspectors on code enforcement and legal issues.
• Attend meetings with City personnel and community meetings.
• Coordinate investigations with City Attorney investigators, law enforcement, and regulatory staff.
• Respond to California Public Records Act requests.
• Appear at City Council and Committee meetings and at administrative hearings.

• Civilly prosecute a wide range of civil violations referred by City Departments and agencies.
• Litigate cases through all phases, from initial filing to appeal.
• Draft complaints, briefs, motions, and other legal documents as required.
• Research, analyze, and write memoranda for litigation purposes and land use enforcement.
• Independently manage a caseload and coordinate with investigators and staff.
