Job summary

The Indian Health Service, Great Plains Area, Cheyenne River Health Center, Pharmacy Department is seeking a Deputy Chief Pharmacist to supervise the Outpatient section and oversee daily operations in the Chief Pharmacist's absence.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, guiding clinical pharmacy services, budgeting, workload reporting, and ensuring compliance with licensure and accreditation requirements. U.S. federal qualification required.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Pharmacy recognized by ACPE or accrediting body.
• Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the United States (NAPLEX and MPJE).
• Color vision adequate for medical work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Pharmacy.
• Supervise pharmacy operations in the absence of Chief Pharmacist.
• Provide oversight of clinical pharmacy services and staff development.
• Prepare and maintain departmental budget and workload reports.
• Ensure compliance with licensure and accreditation requirements.
