Job Description
BAE Systems currently has an exciting opportunity for a senior technical leader focused on program execution and new business growth for our CEMA Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions business area. The Deputy BAED serves as the trusted partner to the Business Area Engineering Director (BAED) and is responsible for driving business operations, partnering with the team to deliver on our strategy to achieve business success, and positioning the business for continued growth. In this role, you are a key member of the leadership team and lead a portion of a large, borderless organization which is responsible for all aspects of performance in support of US Defense businesses. As such, you will assist the BAED with ensuring all aspects of solution design and development, including the application of core engineering processes, design reviews and technical bid reviews are appropriately tailored and deployed across the business area. You will also assist the BAED with leading the organization through a digital transformation that embraces model-based engineering and agile product development.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely. The preferred work location for this resource is Southern NH, but we will also consider candidates local to Austin, TX with additional travel expectations.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $169630 - $288370
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
