The Deputy Assistant Sergeant at Arms for the Office of Security, Emergency Preparedness and Continuity provides executive-level strategic leadership, operational oversight, and direction for Senate safety and security initiatives in partnership with the U.S. Capitol Police and Legislative Branch stakeholders. The position oversees staffing and resource allocation, leads strategic programs and process improvement initiatives, ensures effective implementation of policies and procedures, and supervises research and assessments to strengthen security operations. The Deputy directly supports the Assistant Sergeant at Arms and Executive Office, providing strategic advice, coordinating priorities, and contributing to executive-level decision-making to advance the safety and security of the U.S. Senate.
