Hours: M-F 7-3

Overall Responsibility:
  • Perform Imaging, CT scans, and X-rays in a high-quality, timely, and professional manner with optimal patient care.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  1. Interview and prepare patients for diagnostic exams.
  2. Set up equipment and prepare exams to be performed.
  3. Position and set up patients for the exam being performed.
  4. Administer contrast if necessary, and inform patients about the contrast agent used.
  5. Maintain accurate documentation of the use of intra-office medications and emergency treatment supplies.
  6. Provide a comfortable and professional atmosphere for all patients.
  7. Ensure proper completion of paperwork.
  8. Perform quality control and quality assurance to adhere to the American College of Radiology Standards, as well as ensuring accurate equipment performance.
  9. Perform any other tasks as requested.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

License and Certification:

  1. BCLS, if not current, certification within 90 days of hire.
  2. Current OK ARRT license.

The employee works in a temperature-controlled environment. Must be able to read and speak English fluently, possess cognitive skills for math, reading, computer skills, and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. Vision and hearing must be adequate for near, mid, and far distances, and low to high pitch sounds. The role involves sitting for 70% of activities with minimal physical activity. Risks include exposure to computers (6-7 hours/day), lifting up to 20-30 pounds, and potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.
