Moffitt Cancer Center seeks a Department Chair for the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG) to provide administrative oversight of the Department and its physicians and advanced practice professionals. The Chair will align faculty with the Cancer Center’s academic mission, support clinical trials, and ensure adherence to standards of care and internal pathways.

Formación

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a medical practitioner with clinical care, research and education in an Academic Medical Center setting.
• Effective leadership and interpersonal skills for leading physicians and APPs.
• Experience in oncology-related specialty is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership to Physicians and APPs with servant leadership and mutual respect.
• Support Faculty recruitment with research, clinical service and teaching responsibilities.
• Oversee alignment with academic mission and clinical standards of care.
• Manage department budget and revenue to ensure financial performance.
• Collaborate with program leaders to plan strategic development and clinical programs.
