Moffitt Medical Group (MMG) Department Chair is responsible for the administrative oversight of their Department and its Physicians and Advanced Practice Professionals. The Chair ensures alignment of Faculty and APPs with the Academic mission of the Cancer Center; supports the accrual of patients to available Clinical Trials; facilitates Departmental participation in development, writing, maintenance and adherence to pathways as clinical Standards of Care; holds Faculty accountable for Clinical, Administrative, Research, Teaching and Service components of their roles; and requires Faculty to dedicate appropriate time and effort to each of these roles, in accordance with their dedicated time commitment. The Chair is accountable to the Executive Vice President / Physician‑in‑Chief (EVP‑PIC) for the overall performance of his/her Department, including adherence to budget, clinical productivity, mission alignment and quality of care provision.
Executive Vice President / Physician in Chief (or designee). Direct Reports: MMG Department Vice Chair, where appropriate, and Faculty within department. Indirect Reports: Mid‑Level Providers in the Department and other staff as appropriate.
$578,240.00 - $865,280.00
Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job‑related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
