Job summary

KAG in Toledo, OH is seeking a skilled forklift operator to move large mobile tanks and containers within the facility. You will operate heavy forklifts (empty and loaded) and a yard mule, plus load/unload materials to support the terminal team.

Training begins Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm for 3 weeks; shifts include Tuesday through Saturday or Wednesday through Sunday, 4pm–12am or 12am–8am. Outdoor role in all weather; safety and mechanical awareness essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience required.
• Experience with 15k empty lift and 60k heavy lift preferred.
• Must have no fear of enclosed spaces or heights.
• Outdoor position; work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Move large mobile tanks and/or containers within the facility using the large forklift trucks (empty and loaded) and yard mule.
• Load and unload other materials; assist with related tasks to support the terminal team.
• Operate and drive heavy forklift equipment as part of daily operations.

Salary

$25 - $28.27/hour

Primary Responsibilities

This position will have primary responsibilities of moving large mobile tanks and/or containers within the facility by operating and driving the large heavy forklift trucks (empty and loaded) and yard mule. Job duties will also include loading and unloading of other materials and assisting with other miscellaneous items as needed to contribute to the overall team effort of the terminal.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years' experience is required. Experience with using a 15k empty lift and a 60k heavy lift is preferred.

Must have no fear of enclosed spaces or heights.

Possess a basic understanding of mechanical valves.

This is an outdoor position, and you will be required to work in all elements to include rain, heat, cold, etc.
