Job summary

First National Bank of Oklahoma is seeking a Deposit Operations Officer in Oklahoma City. The role leads the daily item processing and payment operations, supervising a team to ensure accurate, timely processing of ACH, inclearing, wires, and related disputes.

You will ensure compliance with Reg CC, Reg E, NACHA rules, and BSA/AML monitoring while supporting branch staff and preparing month-end reporting. Strong supervisory experience and deep knowledge of payments are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team in bank operations/payments.
• Strong understanding of check processing and item processing workflows.
• Knowledge of ACH, wire transfers, and NACHA rules.
• Familiarity with Regulation E claims and fraud/risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming ACH and inclearing files and balance POD daily.
• Handle outgoing ACH files, wire transfers, and cash letters with accuracy.
• Oversee item processing, NSF, stop payments, and exception management.
• Maintain compliance with Reg CC, Reg E, NACHA rules, and BSA/AML monitoring.
• Investigate Regulation E disputes and fraud indicators; escalate as needed.
• Provide month-end/year-end payment operations reporting and audit readiness.
