The Union Bank Company is hiring a Deposit Operations Associate to work on site at our Operations Center in Columbus Grove, OH. You will review reports, assist customers with deposit needs, and support wire transfers and reconciliation tasks across bank subsidiaries.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year in a related financial role; Excel/Word skills preferred. Strong communication, time management, and a calm, professional approach are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Review daily deposit operations reports and prepare variance/discrepancy reports for the Deposit Operations Manager.
• Assist internal and external customers with deposit operations needs.
• Process wire transfers, review non-posted items, and perform account verifications.
• Collaborate with Accounting to reconcile accounts and input general ledger entries.
• Participate in meetings and training; support daily/weekly/monthly/annual duties as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, policies, and procedures.

This includes but is not limited to reviewing and reconciling Deposit Operations reports, assisting internal and external customers, performing account maintenance and research, monitoring disputed transactions, processing wire transfers and investigating non-posted transactions.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDeposit Operations Associate Responsibilities:A: Reviews daily deposit operations reports for the financial institution. Prepares reports on variances, discrepancies and other deposit operations issues for the Deposit Operations Manager.B: Assists both internal and external customers with Deposit Operational needs.C: Assists with daily departmental common tasks such as but not limited to processing wire transfers, stop payments, account maintenance, debit card maintenance, reconciling non-posted items and performing account verifications.D: Collaborates with the Accounting Department to reconcile accounts and input general ledger entries.E: Actively participates in and attends all required company and department meetings and training courses.F: Assists Deposit Operations Manager with other daily/weekly/monthly/annual duties as necessary.2) Operations:A: Keep abreast of changes in products, policies and procedures, and attend training as needed. Communicate training needs with the Deposit Operations Manager.B: Assists Deposit Operations Manager with other daily/weekly/monthly/annual operations duties as assigned.3) Customer Service:A: Assists internal and external customers with resolution of account maintenance and other deposit operations related issues.Competencies:1. Oral/Written communication skills:Must be able to communicate thoughts clearly and professionally, both orally and written.3. Knowledge of regulations that pertain to deposit operations activities.6. Computer Knowledge:Must have basic ability to operate computers, printers, calculators and other standard office equipment.
