Job summary

Swoop Technologies is seeking a Deployment and Test Engineer to bridge our cutting-edge software with real-world operations for mission-critical customers. You will coordinate deployments across staging, testing, and production, and work with Product and DevOps to ensure reliable releases.

The role requires hands-on experience with CI/CD, containers, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and security-conscious deployment practices. Travel up to 50% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Active US Top Secret Security clearance
• 3–5+ years delivering, integrating, or operating technology solutions in DoD network environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose product issues and implement fixes
• Understand OSI networking principles, including DoD contexts
• Ability to work independently with strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, cloud platforms, automation, and monitoring tools

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute software deployments across staging, testing, and production environments
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to plan and schedule deployment activities
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployment processes and resolve issues
• Automate deployment tasks to reduce manual work
• Ensure version control and documentation of deployment procedures
• Perform post-deployment testing to verify functionality
• Maintain and update deployment tools and scripts
• Provide support to development teams during changes
• Work with AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI for deployments
• Ensure security and operational standards during deployments
• Provide status updates on deployment progress and risks
