Job summary

Nominal is seeking a Deployment Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and monitor a high-scale, mission-critical infrastructure for advanced hardware systems. You will deploy software to air-gapped environments, integrate with on-premises data centers, and extend deployments to cloud and hybrid setups, working with a top-tier engineering team.

You will tackle complex problems, own projects end-to-end, and travel regularly to end-user sites such as rocket test stands and automated manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience deploying, monitoring, and running high-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with air-gapped environments and on-premises deployment.
• Willingness to travel frequently to end-user sites.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deploy & integrate Nominal’s software to first air-gapped on-premises environments.
• Deploy Nominal on customer-owned cloud accounts and hybrid infrastructures.
• Innovate at the edge with data infrastructure and IaC for repeatable deployments.
• Balance effort vs value and plan for short- and long-term growth.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues quickly to keep systems ahead of the curve.
