Job summary

n8n GmbH is seeking an experienced Enterprise Deployment Lead to drive adoption and governance across high-value client deployments. You will partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to translate customer problems into scalable automation roadmaps and outcomes.

You will guide on-site deployments, build business cases in customers' language, and help establish ownership, prioritization, and enablement across technical and business teams. Remote-first work with Europe and US travel expectations.

Qualifications

Experience in deployment, implementation, consulting, or technical customer success in a B2B software company.
Ability to drive adoption and define governance models with enterprise customers.
Strong capability to build business cases and map automation to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Your main goal will be to help enterprise customers turn automation from isolated workflow wins into a scalable operating model that drives measurable business impact. To do so, you'll lead the business, adoption, and governance workstream across high-value enterprise deployments:

Drive customer outcomes during deployments
Lead the organizational workstream during focused on-site deployments, from executive kickoff to closeout.
Partner closely with a Forward Deployed Engineer to turn customer problems into adopted workflows that solve real operational pain.
Guide customers in implementing the automation operating and governance model they need to scale n8n sustainably.
Help define ownership, decision-making, prioritization, enablement, and adoption practices across technical and business teams.
Leave customers more capable and confident by making automation part of how their organization works.
Map business processes to uncover high-impact automation opportunities across unfamiliar customer environments.
Build business cases in the customer's language by estimating impact, modeling value, and connecting automation to executive priorities.
Identify upsell and expansion signals during engagements and hand them cleanly to the Customer Success team.

Enterprise deployment experience:

You have worked in deployment, implementation, consulting, solutions, or technical customer success roles at a B2B software company.

On-site customer experience:

You know what it takes to drive adoption with enterprise customers in complex, high-stakes environments.
You can walk into an unfamiliar operation, ask the right questions, and turn what you learn into clear automation opportunities.
You can help customers define the governance, ownership, and ways of working needed to scale automation sustainably.
You can build value cases, estimate impact, and help customers prioritize an automation roadmap based on business outcomes.
You do not need to write code, but you understand technical architecture, can demo convincingly, and can spot when a solution is not aligned with the customer's needs.

Travel readiness:

You are willing to travel for on-site engagements roughly 30-50% of the time across Europe.

English fluency:

You communicate clearly and confidently in English with technical, operational, and executive audiences.

European languages:

You speak one or more additional European languages. You have helped customers adopt workflow automation, integration, AI automation, or internal tooling platforms.

Enterprise transformation:

You have worked on transformation initiatives where success depended on stakeholder alignment, enablement, and measurable business outcomes. You know how to turn field learnings into crisp feedback that helps product and engineering teams build what customers actually need.

At n8n, you'll help define how enterprise customers adopt automation in the real world - not through long consulting decks, but through focused deployments that create momentum, prove value, and make teams more capable. You'll work at the intersection of strategy, technology, operations, and change management, partnering closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to turn complex customer environments into clear automation roadmaps.
