Socket.dev is seeking a Deployment Strategist to architect and implement AI deployments. You will design agent workflows, manage builds, handle integrations, and ensure deployments deliver measurable value for clinical workflows.
You bring strong technical judgment, customer empathy, and the ability to scope complex problems. This is an orchestration role—not coding but coordinating integrations and running deployments from scoping through optimization.
The Deployment Strategist is the technical architect and implementer for each AI deployment, bridging customer needs and technical execution. You'll design agent workflows, manage the build process, handle integrations, and ensure deployments deliver measurable clinical value.
This role demands strong technical judgment, customer empathy, and the ability to scope complex problems under uncertainty. You're not writing code - you're orchestrating integrations, configuring AI agents, and running the deployment from initial scoping through optimization.
This is a forward-deployed, onsite role. This is an onsite role based in Duarte, CA, with five days per week at the client site and occasional travel to Hippocratic AI headquarters (Menlo Park, CA) for strategic planning and team sessions.
You're architecting deployments of the world's first healthcare-only, safety-focused LLM - a breakthrough platform designed to transform patient outcomes at global scale. As the DS, you shape how that safety-first approach translates into real agent designs that clinicians trust. This is category creation, and you're the technical strategist making it work.
You work with an exceptional caliber of technical and clinical talent: AI pioneers from Google, Meta, Microsoft, NVIDIA alongside physicians and hospital leaders from Johns Hopkins, Washington University, Stanford. The insights you gain from customers and partners will accelerate your growth exponentially. You'll solve harder technical problems alongside smarter people.
Backed by $404M in funding from the world's leading healthcare and AI investors - CapitalG, a16z, General Catalyst, Kleiner Perkins, and strategic investors like UHS, Cincinnati Children's, and WellSpan Health. This resources and confidence in the vision mean you can focus on technical excellence without worrying about runway. You're building for scale and longevity.
Every agent you architect has measurable clinical impact. Unlike many technical roles where success is indirect, your designs directly improve patient outcomes, increase clinician efficiency, and transform how healthcare operates. You'll see the clinical value of your technical decisions and know that your work matters in a way few engineering roles do.
