Storm4 is seeking a coordinator to lead deployment of Demand Response, BESS, VPPs and other energy solutions across the United States. You will work with engineering, controls, product, regulatory, operations and commercial teams to onboard, commission and achieve go-live for customer projects.

The role requires hands-on project management, strong stakeholder communication and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-moving energy tech environment.

Formación

• 1–3+ years of relevant experience in demand response, BESS, distributed energy or the wider power sector.
• Technical degree in Electrical/Energy/Automation engineering is desirable.
• Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities with clear communication.
• Ability to manage multiple technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Analytical, organized and problem-solving mindset; proactive ownership.

About the Role

Join a fast-growing energy technology business delivering innovative solutions across the evolving power grid.

This role will lead the deployment of Demand Response, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Virtual Power Plants (VPPs), and other distributed energy solutions across the US.

You’ll work across engineering, controls, product, regulatory, operations and commercial teams, taking ownership of customer projects from onboarding through commissioning and go-live.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Demand Response, BESS and energy technology projects from onboarding through commissioning and go-live.
• Understand customer sites, assets and operational requirements to develop effective flexibility strategies.
• Coordinate internal teams, customers, contractors and third-party stakeholders.
• Lead project planning, resource coordination, risk management and reporting.
• Support commissioning and testing of customer assets against applicable grid requirements.
• Ensure technical, regulatory and commercial requirements are delivered to agreed timelines.
• Analyse customer energy data and identify operational or commercial opportunities.
• Communicate project progress, risks and issues to key stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of relevant experience, ideally within Demand Response, BESS, distributed energy or the wider power sector.
• Technical degree such as Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or Automation Engineering is desirable.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable taking ownership and working independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Willingness to support on-site project activity when required.

Technical Experience That Would Be Valuable

• Exposure to SCADA, BMS, PLCs or industrial control systems.
• Understanding of IT networking, troubleshooting or database queries.
• Knowledge of Demand Response, ancillary services or US electricity markets.
• Familiarity with PJM, ERCOT and/or MISO.
• Experience with project management platforms such as Monday.com.
• PRINCE2, Scrum or similar certification is beneficial but not essential.
