Job summary

TKO StaffPros, LLC is seeking an experienced Manager, Operations & Delivery to lead production, integration, testing, and delivery of BESS, DER, and Energy-as-a-Service solutions from the Plano shop floor to customer sites.

You will coordinate assembly, integration, testing, and shipping, manage schedules and KPIs, troubleshoot system integration issues, and oversee field commissioning, quality, and safety compliance across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in manufacturing operations, technical integration, project execution, power systems, or field deployment.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, specs, BOMs, and test documentation.
• Strong project management skills with scheduling, critical path, and risk control.

Responsibilities

• Production operations: Lead daily assembly, integration, testing, and shipping; manage schedules, labor, and KPIs.
• BESS systems integration: Coordinate battery, BMS, PCS/inverters, EMS; troubleshoot Modbus/TCP and CAN bus.
• Project delivery: Manage multiple projects from handoff to shipment, deployment, and customer acceptance.
• Quality & FAT/SAT: Oversee inspections, testing, nonconformance, root-cause analysis, and release docs.
• Field commissioning: Coordinate installation, EPC partners, punch lists, energization, and handover.
• Supply chain & logistics: Manage materials, long-lead items, supplier issues, inventory, and shipping.
• NPI & scaling: Support prototype builds, BOMs, build docs, and move to repeatable production.
• Safety & compliance: Enforce OSHA and electrical safety and support BESS compliance with Engineering.
• Customer & OEM engagement: Represent operations in meetings; work with Sales and Engineering on feasibility.

We’re a growth-stage energy technology company delivering behind-the-meter battery storage (BESS), distributed energy (DER), and Energy-as-a-Service solutions to telecom, TowerCo, critical infrastructure, and commercial & industrial customers. This hands‑on leader will own production, integration, testing, and delivery of those systems, from the shop floor to customer sites.

What You’ll Do

• Production operations: Lead daily assembly, integration, testing, and shipping. Own schedules, labor, work instructions, and KPIs, and reduce rework and waste.
• BESS systems integration: Coordinate integration of batteries, BMS, PCS/inverters, and EMS controllers. Help troubleshoot Modbus TCP/RTU and CAN bus issues. Engineering keeps design authority.
• Project delivery: Manage multiple projects from internal handoff through shipment, deployment, and customer acceptance. Track schedule, cost, risk, and status.
• Quality & FAT/SAT: Oversee inspections, Factory and Site Acceptance Testing, nonconformance reports, root‑cause analysis, and release documentation.
• Field commissioning: Coordinate installation, EPC partners, punch lists, energization support, and customer handover.
• Supply chain & logistics: Manage materials, long‑lead items, supplier issues, inventory, and shipping.
• NPI & scaling: Support prototype builds, BOMs, build documentation, and the move into repeatable production.
• Safety & compliance: Enforce OSHA and electrical safety practices and support BESS compliance with Engineering.
• Customer & OEM engagement: Represent operations in customer and supplier meetings and work with Sales and Engineering on feasibility.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years in manufacturing operations, technical integration, project execution, power systems, or field deployment
• Proven ownership of production, multidisciplinary delivery, or installation/commissioning programs
• Strong project management skills (scheduling, critical path, risk and issue control)
• Ability to read electrical drawings, specs, BOMs, and test documentation
• Working knowledge of electrical power systems, production testing, and quality processes
• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Current Dallas–Fort Worth resident, able to work onsite in Plano five days a week
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, suppliers, and commissioning locations

Preferred Qualifications

• BESS, DER, telecom power, TowerCo, or industrial power experience
• Multi‑vendor battery and PCS integration; BMS/EMS/SCADA familiarity
• Modbus and industrial communications troubleshooting
• FAT/SAT, commissioning, and customer‑facing technical experience
• NPI or manufacturing scale‑up experience
• PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, or OSHA training
• Familiarity with UL 9540/9540A, UL 1973, UL 1741, NFPA 855, and NEC

Success Milestones

• 6 months: Own daily production and delivery priorities, and set up tracking for projects, materials, and risks.
• 12 months: Establish repeatable production, test, and delivery processes with fewer delays and less rework.
• 24 months: Scale the operating model across new BESS/DER products, with stable KPIs and a stronger team.
