Deployment Manager:

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Deployment Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of billing system deployments across multiple environments. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of enterprise software deployments, system integrations, and business continuity planning. The Deployment Manager will work cross-functionally to execute deployment milestones with minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Deployment Planning and Execution

• Own the end-to-end cutover and deployment strategy for billing and integrated systems
• Develop and maintain deployment schedules, runbooks, rollback plans, and documentation
• Ensure all deployment activities align with organizational standards and compliance requirements
• Lead day-of-deployment execution and coordinate efforts across IT, business, and vendor teams

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with teams managing Salesforce, Azure, Oracle ERP, Boomi, and legacy systems
• Align technical deployment activities and ensure integration readiness across all environments

Risk and Change Management

• Identify and mitigate deployment risks, dependencies, and conflicts
• Enforce change control procedures and manage unplanned impacts effectively

Communication and Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for deployment status, issue resolution, and escalations
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders and ensure alignment with business priorities

Post-Deployment Improvement

• Conduct post-deployment reviews and retrospectives
• Continuously improve deployment processes, tooling, and documentation

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years in deployment or release management, preferably with billing systems in the Salesforce ecosystem
• Experience leading enterprise deployments involving both cloud and legacy systems
• Proven track record working with Salesforce and ERP/financial systems

Technical Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, AutoRABIT, Harness, Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with integration platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, or Power Automate
• Strong understanding of version control, scripting, and change management

Project and Communication Skills

• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
