Job summary

Aaru in New York City is seeking a Deployment Lead to manage client relationships from discovery to long-term collaboration, delivering simulation-driven insights directly to senior stakeholders.

You will coordinate with engineering, product, and commercial teams, translate complex asks into actionable workstreams, and own deployments end-to-end in a fast-moving, in-person environment in NYC. Relocation is supported for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years at a top consulting firm, investment bank, or in a strategic operations role at a high-growth startup — and you've owned workstreams or client relationships, not just supported them
• Self-directed in ambiguity — you can shape an unclear ask into a crisp workstream, flag issues early, and deliver without hand-holding
• Strong analytical skills and can work fluently with complex data and communicate findings clearly in writing and in person
• You're excited to work fully in-person in NYC and bring genuine curiosity about AI and global affairs

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Deployment Lead, you will manage client relationships at Aaru from initial contact through long-term collaboration. The Deployment team partners with clients to configure tailored analyses and deliver simulation-driven insights directly to senior client stakeholders. You will work closely with Aaru's founders to serve a wide variety of clients, addressing an even broader range of challenges using the most exciting predictive technology since the astrolabe.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own client relationships end-to-end, from discovery and scoping through deployment and long-term collaboration

• Identify and scope new engagement opportunities across industries

YOU MAY BE A FIT IF

• You have 2+ years at a top consulting firm, investment bank, or in a strategic operations role at a high-growth startup — and you've owned workstreams or client relationships, not just supported them

• You're self-directed in ambiguity — you can shape an unclear ask into a crisp workstream, flag issues early, and deliver without hand-holding

• You have strong analytical skills and can work fluently with complex data and communicate findings clearly in writing and in person

• You're excited to work fully in-person in NYC and bring genuine curiosity about AI and global affairs

STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO

• Speak multiple languages

• Have proficiency in Python or familiarity with AI tools and complex software

• Have a background in technology or engineering

• Have experience implementing and executing projects across long timescales

• Have a background in traditional market research and consumer insights (e.g., survey design, focus groups, quantitative/qualitative analysis, syndicated data sources) with a strong foundation in translating research findings into actionable business recommendations

LOCATION

This role is based in New York City. Aaru is an in-person company, working 5 days a week in office. Candidates are expected to be located within the New York City metropolitan area or open to relocation.
