Job summary

ArcBest is seeking an Engineer - Deployment in California to lead on-site deployments of Vaux solutions, train customers, and ensure smooth rollout.

You will relocate to client deployment sites, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, configure networks, and provide post-installation support. This role requires strong problem-solving, clear documentation, and a proactive customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent work experience in a relevant technical field may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage deployments for small to medium customer sites.
• Perform 2D/3D site mapping, facility layout planning, and network analysis.
• Configure and troubleshoot AMRs, networks (Wi-Fi, LTE/5G, CBRS), and Vaux systems.
• Provide on-site deployment support and customer training.
• Document deployments and hand off to long-term support.
• Collaborate with Product teams to resolve issues and share lessons learned.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software performance and compatibility.
• Relocate to client sites for extended deployment periods.
