Job summary

Akima Logistics Services (ALS) seeks a CONUS-Augmentation Field Engineer to support THAAD operations. The role includes deployment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, field and sustainment maintenance, and training of KSA CLS personnel.

You will assist in system integration, maintenance actions, and troubleshooting across TFCC, telemetry, and launcher systems, with cross-training across THAAD elements. Must hold SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years technician experience with field & sustainment operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• U.S citizenship.
• Able to obtain U.S. Passport.
• Must possess an active security clearance SECRET level or higher.
• Must pass a background check to include criminal and credit.
• Able to meet the requirements for residence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Deploy long-term to KSA THAAD sites as required.
• Sustainment Operations.
• Provide field and sustainment maintenance support to KSA THAAD Fire Units.
• Support SICO from White Sands Missile Range, NM.
• Manage maintenance and sustainment program including scheduling services, system upgrades, and modifications.
• Assist training KSA maintainer/operators.
• Perform maintenance actions and troubleshooting above EOM level (software, hardware, cables, electrical, networks).
• Create, update, and complete Maintenance Actions and verify reports.
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Coordinate engineering reach-back support of CLS Field Service Representatives.
• Maintain THAAD Training Devices and related software.
• Work in austere environments if required.
• Additional Logistics Center duties and remote maintenance activities.
• Supply support for fielded THAAD batteries.
• Monitor and report battery status and supply-chain status.
• Provide admin support for THAAD KSA Batteries.
