Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking an administrative professional to support one or more staff across functional areas, including order processing, payroll, materials procurement, and related transportation tasks.

You will organize data, follow procedures, and perform routine daily tasks such as data entry, correspondence, and vendor coordination in a manufacturing setting. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience administering safety programs and/or safety training.
• Experience in an office environment supporting manufacturing operations.
• Proven capability to use computer systems including Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
• Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures regarding manufacturing.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary range for position: $42,000–$52,5000.
• Bonus: Annual – Based upon individual contribution and overall company performance.
• Paid Vacation: Three weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata vacation during the initial year of hire based on start date.
• Paid Holidays.
• Benefits enrollment within the first 30 days of employment for medical, dental, and vision coverage; life, AD&D, and disability coverages are automatically enrolled.
