A government agency in Dimondale, Michigan is seeking a Departmental Analyst for quality assurance of motor carrier records. This position serves as the quality assurance resource relating to motor carrier intrastate authority records, and provides advanced support for programs, services and activities in the Intrastate Authority Unit. This position is responsible for performing quality control analysis of motor carrier records, providing recommendations to the unit manager, and identifying and resolving discrepancies in the CVED Authority Portal (CAP) relating to automated system functions and state and federal regulations. This position provides technical and non-technical staff training regarding the programs, policies and legislation utilized to issue and regulate intrastate operating authority and provides guidance to record processing staff regarding complex or unusual authority situations.
This position requires passing a pre-employment screening, including passing a drug screen, criminal history background check, and a fingerprint check by the Michigan State Police.
