Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Area Supervisor for our Distribution Center in West Memphis, AR. You will manage operations and up to 40 associates across a designated area such as Bulk, Shipping, Receiving, Repack, or Forklift, ensuring safe, efficient daily activities and policy compliance.

You will lead coaching, training, and corrective actions, coordinating with other DC departments to hit daily goals and maintain housekeeping and reporting. 3rd shift, 6pm–4:30am, with a potential yearly bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years supervisory or management experience in an automated distribution or production environment.
• Familiarity with RF and pick-to-light systems is desired.
• Ability to work multiple shifts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Analytical ability to assess situations, prioritize tasks, and implement solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation, coaching, and training to associates on department processes, systems, and procedures; administer corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate and communicate with other departments within the DC to achieve daily operational goals.
• Conduct physical inspections of assigned work areas and equipment; initiate work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained and input required data for reporting purposes.
• Lead, coach, and support associates toward professional success and skill development.
• Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, quality, and operational standards.
• Maintain compliance with Distribution Center practices, policies, and procedures.

About Your Role:

As an Area Supervisor at one of Dollar Tree's Distribution Centers, you’ll manage and oversee the operations and associates within a specific area of the Distribution Center (Bulk, Shipping, Receiving, Repack, or Forklift). You’ll ensure daily warehouse activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Your Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 1-3 years of supervisory or management experience in an automated distribution or production environment.

• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) and pick-to-light systems is desired.

• Ability to work multiple shifts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Analytical ability to assess situations, prioritize tasks, and implement solutions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) preferred.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience supervising multiple teams within a distribution or warehouse environment.
