Dollar Tree is seeking an Area Supervisor at one of our Distribution Centers in West Memphis, AR. You will manage operations and 40 associates within a defined area (Bulk, Shipping, Receiving, Repack or Forklift) to ensure safe, efficient daily activities in line with company policies.

Lead and develop teammates, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate with cross-department DC teams. Eligible for annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of supervisory or management experience in a distribution/production environment.
• Familiarity with RF and pick-to-light systems is desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee up to 40 associates within the assigned area.
• Ensure staffing and adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
• Provide orientation, coaching, and training to associates on processes and procedures.
• Coordinate with other DC departments to achieve daily goals.
• Conduct inspections and initiate work orders for repairs or equipment replacements.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and input data for reporting.

Pay: $62k-68k/yr

About Your Role:

As an Area Supervisor at one of Dollar Tree’s Distribution Centers, you’ll manage and oversee the operations and associates within a specific area of the Distribution Center (Bulk, Shipping, Receiving, Repack, or Forklift). You’ll ensure daily warehouse activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Area Operations:

• Manage and oversee up to 40 associates and all related functions within your assigned area.
• Ensure work area is appropriately staffed for each shift and production, quality, and safety standards are maintained.
• Provide orientation, coaching, and training to associates on department processes, systems, and procedures. Administer corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate and communicate with other departments within the DC to achieve daily operational goals.
• Conduct physical inspections of assigned work areas and equipment; initiate work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained and input required data for reporting purposes.

Leadership & Compliance:

• Lead, coach, and support associates toward professional success and skill development.
• Ensure adherence to non-negotiables related to safety, sanitation, quality, and operational standards.
• Maintain compliance with Distribution Center practices, policies, and procedures.

Your Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of supervisory or management experience in an automated distribution or production environment.
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) and pick-to-light systems is desired.
• Ability to work multiple shifts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Analytical ability to assess situations, prioritize tasks, and implement solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) preferred.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience supervising multiple teams within a distribution or warehouse environment.
