Job summary

FTS International, LLC (FTS) has an opportunity for a Department of War (DoW) Liaison in McLean, VA. The DoW Liaison will establish and maintain professional relationships with DoW mission partners to communicate and coordinate support for military activities.

The DoW Liaison will serve as the DoW subject matter expert, attend meetings to define requirements, and write, review, and coordinate requests for support and plans.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• BS/BA degree in a relevant field is required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the Department of War and knowledge of U.S. military organizational structures, missions, locations, and operating principles.
• Experience within the Intelligence Community and knowledge of organizations, missions, and operating principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with diverse audiences.
• Ability to understand and write military activity and planning terminology.
• Experience briefing mid to senior-level executives.
• Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks.

Desired Skills/Qualifications

• U.S. military service with operational and staff experience in conventional forces and special operations forces
• Experience as a planner and/or practitioner of signature reduction activities
• General knowledge of client organization and mission

Expected Salary Range

$137,000 - $162,000 per year. Placement within the range is determined by qualifications, job-related criteria, experience, internal equity and market considerations.
