Posting Summary | The Division of Endocrinology within the Department of Medicine, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School seeks to employ an Endocrinologist at an open rank. Responsibilities may include: outpatient care relating to endocrinology, managing new and follow-up patient visits, and participating in inpatient service as assigned by the Division Chief. Additional responsibilities include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, serving on departmental committees, and attending divisional and departmental meetings. An interest in osteoporosis and bone disease is a plus. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at New Brunswick is part of the RWJBarnabas Health System. The affiliation of Rutgers Health and RWJ/Barnabas Health, the largest health system in NJ, presents exciting opportunities for growth and expansion of the endocrinology program. The integrated health system (RWJBarnabas) is a $5 billion enterprise and cares for about 40% of all NJ residents. |
