The Department of Computer Science (CS) at Central Connecticut State University seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for future, part-time appointments as adjunct faculty. The Department of Computer Science is diverse in faculty, expertise, and discipline programs. Quality teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, adjunct faculty, and industry experience are especially valued in CS. Our Computer Science-Honors program is accredited by ABET, and our Cybersecurity program is undergoing similar national accreditation. Courses are taught on campus and are offered both daytime and evenings. The number of positions varies by semester and depends upon the needs of the department. Appointments are for one semester, and may be renewable based on need, funding, and performance.

We are especially interested in practitioners who have professional and teaching expertise in:

• Introductory Computer Science classes in: Java, Python, and C++
• Systems Programming
• Cybersecurity

• Strong teaching skills, and have an ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning
