Job summary

Runnings in Washington, IL is seeking a Department Manager for our Housewares department. This role directs merchandising, sets priorities for new merchandise, and ensures strong customer service within the department.

You will work with the store's retail buyers, help train new team members, and maintain inventory and safety standards. Day, evening, and weekend shifts are required, with a focus on delivering top-quality service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.

Description

We have career opportunity as a Department Manager of our Housewares department. The Department Manager is responsible for merchandising and sales within his or her assigned department. Department Managers are responsible to provide the highest level of customer service and report to the Store Manager. This position will require ability to workdays, nights, and an alternating weekend schedule.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and coordinate the merchandising of assigned products.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma preferred
• Customer Service training and or experience preferred.
