Salary: $18.00 - $27.40 per hour.

Department Manager Responsibilities
  • Heart of House (HOH) Manager: Responsible for all food/product matters in the HOH area, staffing and development, maintaining a safe environment, improving profitability, and assisting the General Manager with overall restaurant operations.
  • Bar Department Manager: Responsible for supervising the bar, managing adult beverage matters, ordering, inventory control, RAS compliance, hiring, training, and developing bartenders and bar servers, maintaining safety, and improving profitability.
  • Hospitality Manager: Responsible for supervising dining room service, managing team member planning and development, and maintaining a safe environment.
Team Responsibilities
  • Directly responsible for staffing, succession planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, and ongoing development of department team members.
  • Responsible for WCT training and maintaining department certification.
  • Develops direct reports by creating action/development plans.
  • Coordinates with other department managers on hiring decisions.
  • Creates weekly department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines.
  • Creates, develops and implements incentive programs and contests.
  • Provides regular performance feedback and conducts appraisals.
  • Administers semi‑annual merit increase process.
  • Assists the General Manager with coaching other managers.
  • Oversees MIT training during training weeks.
  • Utilizes World Wide Wings support teams when necessary.
  • Provides coaching and follow‑up to direct reports to ensure service standards.
  • Communicates effectively via departmental meetings.
  • Ensures all team members have current state training and permits.
  • Active in attracting new guests and handling complaints.
  • Utilizes Guest Experience Management program to provide feedback.
Quality Operations Responsibilities
  • Facilitates and ensures adherence to new food product rollouts.
  • Ensures team members meet standards for serving quality products and recipe adherence.
  • Communicates with food vendors on product delivery.
  • Ensures menu specs, wall charts, and systems are utilized.
  • Communicates areas of opportunity to the department and management team.
  • Assists the general manager on quality, service, cleanliness standards.
  • Analyzes performance measurement tools and troubleshoots problems.
  • Conducts administrative tasks (invoices, inventory, end‑of‑day procedures).
  • Monitors department equipment and reports repair needs.
  • Ensures compliance with Board of Health and food safety practices.
  • Corrects BOH and Steritech issues immediately.
  • Facilitates new bar product/promotion rollouts.
  • Communicates with beer and alcohol vendors for product delivery.
  • Ensures bar systems are utilized and adhered to.
  • Communicates opportunities to bartenders, bar servers, and management team.
Bar Department Manager Quality Operations
  • Analyzes performance measurement tools and troubleshoots issues.
  • Conducts administrative tasks (invoices, end‑of‑day).
  • Monitors bar equipment function and quality.
Sales and Profit Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overall food cost and operating within variance.
  • Responsible for overall labor results and SPLH targets.
  • Orders food and paper products, maintains inventory levels.
  • Establishes projections and understands P&L, creates action plans.
  • Manages bar cost tools, overall bar costs and labor results, inventory levels, and financial goals.
  • Aggressively manages waste, comps, voids, and early discounts.
  • Creates incentive contests for bar sales building.
  • Assists the General Manager with the local marketing program.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience.
  • Experience with a full bar preferred.
  • Passionate, team‑focused, committed to a fast‑paced environment with wings, beer, sports.
  • Open availability including late nights and weekends.
  • Highly motivated, self‑directed, results‑driven with strong organizational skills.
  • Skilled in basic mathematical computations.
  • Proven track record managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and enforce company policies.
  • High school education or equivalent, valid driver’s license, satisfactory background check, and ability to lift 50lb regularly.
  • Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program.
  • Physical demands: lift 50lb, stand, walk, shift work.
