Job summary

Nike Inc in California is hiring a Department Manager to lead a fast-paced, high-volume store team. You will coach staff and deliver outstanding customer service, bringing the Nike experience to life for customers and the community.

Requirements include three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience and one year in a leadership role. You’ll recruit, onboard and develop teams, drive store operations, and work to meet performance and sales targets.

• Leading a team that helps keep all store functions running seamlessly.
• Ensuring your store is staffed by attracting, assessing and onboarding your future teammates.
• Equip store employees with tools needed to succeed in their day-to-day responsibilities.
• Leading your store's team and business results/critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, a high level of customer service, sales, people leadership and management.
• Managing product life cycle from stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.

Job description

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $26.96 to $40.44. Actual pay rate will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Hours: Full Time – 34-40 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
