Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with an emphasis on providing fast and friendly customer service.
  2. Assist customers by making product suggestions and engage in suggestive selling via telephone, intercom announcements, and in-store interactions.
  3. Respond to incoming calls, resolve customer complaints, and report to the Store Director as needed.
  4. Manage total store operations in the absence of the Store Director.
  5. Plan daily operations, monitor production, and ensure profitability.
  6. Build displays, rotate stock, discard outdated products, and ensure cleanliness.
  7. Implement promotional displays and maintain department standards.
  8. Monitor employee productivity, evaluate performance, and schedule staff to ensure coverage.
  9. Supervise, train, and assign duties to department employees, including opening and closing tasks.
  10. Train employees on store policies, sales, and record-keeping procedures, and identify high-potential employees for advancement.
  11. Ensure proper code dating for products and enforce compliance.
  12. Handle personnel actions such as interviews, transfers, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
  13. Prepare sales and inventory reports, conduct physical inventories, and control inventory levels.
  14. Order merchandise, maintain stock levels, and supervise reclamation processes.
  15. Control shrinkage and costs, and operate related equipment safely.
