Job summary

OCTA seeks a Department Manager in IS Enterprise Business Solutions to lead enterprise applications, data warehousing, analytics, content management, and low-code platforms. You will set governance, standards, and roadmaps, partnering with business leaders to modernize processes and deliver measurable value.

You will oversee budgets, staffing plans, vendor contracts, and project delivery while mentoring managers and building a high-performing team to support Orange County’s mobility initiatives.

Job DescriptionDepartment Manager - IS Enterprise Business SolutionsUnder the direction of the Chief Information Officer, provides strategic and operational leadership for OCTA’s Enterprise Business Solutions functions. This position leads mission-critical enterprise applications, data warehousing and integration, business intelligence and analytics, enterprise content management, SharePoint, collaboration, automation, eForms, and low-code solutions.The Department Manager establishes technology strategies, priorities, governance, and service delivery aligned with organizational goals; partners with business leaders to modernize processes and deliver measurable value; and oversees technology initiatives, budgets, contracts, vendors, and workforce development.This is an exempt position in salary grade 260: Min – $173,180.80 | Mid – $205,753.60 | Max – $238,305.60/year.
