Job summary

DH Pace Company seeks a results-driven operations leader in Little Rock, AR to manage the residential service and installation department. You will plan daily schedules, review workloads, and drive on-time project completion while controlling costs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with management experience, strong communication skills, and a mechanical aptitude. Proficiency in MS Office and a valid driver's license are also required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and prior management experience preferred; equivalent combination considered
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with good mechanical aptitude
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the residential service and installation department
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments
• Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments cost-effectively
• Ensure projects are completed timely, below budget and to customer satisfaction
• Review monthly financial/operational reports and develop action plans to improve
• Improve performance of field staff through regular reviews and coaching
• Assist with hiring, training and developing new employees
• Other duties as assigned

Primary responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the residential service and installation department
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure that the plan is properly executed
• Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective manner
• Ensure that projects are completed timely, below budget and to the satisfaction of the customer
• Review monthly financial/operational reports and work with front-line managers to develop action plans to improve
• Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviews
• Will assist with hiring, training and developing new employees
• Other responsibilities as assigned

What you need to carry out this job

• Bachelor’s degree and prior management experience is preferred; can consider an equivalent combination of experience/education
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and a good mechanical aptitude
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) as well as experience using a computer in a general business environment
• Driver's license required
