This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and products but is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. If hired, the franchisee will be your employer, responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA has no control over employment matters at the restaurant.

Responsibilities

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring a fast, accurate, friendly experience for customers. Some managers also lead specific departments.

• Guest Service Department Manager:
  • Ensure crew and managers deliver a great customer experience.
  • Ensure sales promotions are conducted successfully.
  • Ensure all service staff are trained in service procedures.
  • Organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas for best service.
• Kitchen Department Manager:
  • Ensure the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly.
  • Maintain food safety standards.
  • Control food cost.
  • Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
• People Department Manager:
  • Hire qualified crew members.
  • Train staff effectively.
  • Schedule personnel to meet sales and profit goals.
  • Ensure crew receive a positive onboarding experience.
  • Recognize and motivate crew throughout their tenure.

Qualifications

Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates should be positive team players with flexible schedules, enjoy a fast‑paced environment, and wish to work at a fast‑food restaurant. Applicants must be 18 years or older to manage in our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
