The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC (CAO) is seeking a Department Manager for Anne Arundel Orthopaedic Surgeons to oversee day-to-day clinic operations and staff.

The Department Manager for Anne Arundel Orthopaedic Surgeons, a division of the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, is responsible for the day-today management of the practice. He or She will coordinate managerial duties and responsibilities with the Practice Administrator. Such duties will encompass operational management, supervision of staff, and support to the Physicians.
The Department Manager will assume increasing responsibility for revenue cycle management, financial oversight, and personnel management under the general direction and guidance from the Administrator. The Administrator will work with CAO and the Division's Physicians to develop and implement practice objectives, policies, procedures, and systems with the Department Manager operationalizing and overseeing those activities. Together with the Practice leadership and Administrator, the Department Manager will assure professional and thoughtful medical care for every patient.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5years of experience in healthcare administration, practice operations, or medical office management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments or functions.
Strong understanding of healthcare operations, compliance, and patient service standards.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and foster teamwork.
Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
