California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) seeks a Department Coordinator in Career Services to provide comprehensive administrative support and coordinate a broad range of activities within a busy office. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will assist with operations, budgeting, data tracking, and policy implementation to help achieve department goals.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Career Services, the Department Coordinator provides administrative oversight and coordination for the Career Services department. The position is responsible for coordinating a wide range of activities and projects in a busy office while supporting the Executive Director and the department leadership team in carrying out department goals. This position provides comprehensive administrative support, with responsibilities to include operations, significant budget and personnel support, communication and implementation of policies and procedures, data entry and tracking, and department coordination.

High school diploma or its equivalent. Type 45 wpm. Five years of general office support experience. (Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of college education for 6 months of experience.)
Anticipated Hiring Range: $52,404 - $66,456 Per Year
Classification Range: $48,696 - $79,836 Per Year

The Classification Range may be broader than what the University anticipates paying for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
